Job Description

Electronic Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing hardware products and operate testing equipment; this is a full time position with health benefit and paid holidays. Technician will be required to Test/Debug/Repair/Test for functionality and meet daily goals. Technicians have 5+ years’ experience in PCB debugging and component level repair. It’s great opportunity to expand your skillset.

Responsibilities

  • SMT & Through Hole PCB Assembly repair
  • Soldering of SMT parts, including 0201 & BGA components, and custom cables
  • Assist with debugging and difficult fixes on PCB
  • Test incoming product and maintain reports/ spreadsheets of issues
  • Operate test equipment and run calibration & validation tests on a regular basis
  • Test debugging to component level remove, replace and test
  • Maintain test logs, organize test/repair data
  • Clean, organize, and improve lab spaces.
  • Able to read schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Debug and solve customer problem related to the products, doing repair, warranty claims of the products
  • Ability to set up and use oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generators, and other general electronic test equipment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on fine pitch soldering/ electronics experience

  • Quick to learn and interested in growing skills & knowledge
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree (2yr) preferred but not required
  • Experience in a lab or testing environment

Job Description

Renova repairs defective electronic equipment, mainly for commercial industries. As a member of the Customer Service Team, you will be the frontline resource for our customers’ general inquiries, order placements, and any problems which need solving. Communications with customers will be exchanged mostly via email, then by phone, and also in-person.

Our team is the primary interface between the outside world and internal departments, ensuring services and practices are clear between all parties, and that expectations are managed. We’re the bird’s eye view and facilitators of product in all phases, and the experts on what the company can do for our customers.

  • ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Database Admin – Using Renova’s custom-built software, add/update customer accounts with acquired data. Manage customer’s orders via importing (downloading), data entry, and printing.
  • Order Inquiries/Processing – Record customer order details via email, phone, and in-person. Enter orders into our ECM Database so they can be received into the ECM and tracked.
  • Reporting and Problem Solving – If a customer calls or emails with a question(s), investigate to get the answer(s) ASAP if it cannot be answered immediately.
  • Collaborative Work – Communicating and coordinating with co-workers to meet customer’s needs. Reporting tasks, and escalating queries and concerns, to the supervisor as necessary.
  • Customer Outreach – Proactive “success”. Includes monitoring customer health, inquiring about new repairs/sales to help keep product flowing to Renova, etc.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills, particularly proficient at typing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows apps (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Professional demeanor and strong phone contact handling
  • Willingness to learn and apply creative thinking for problem solving
  • Keen listening, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt within a fast-changing environment

About The Role

Upon completion of onboarding you will:

  • Gain sales and marketing experience by working with Renova’s marketing automation and sales tools (platforms such as Salesforce)
  • Follow up with new prospects and existing customers by phone and email (complete weekly call/email metrics)
  • Assist Sales Team to qualify prospects and set appointments
  • Learn business development and marketing strategies by working with Renova’s Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Understand the commercial security landscape and manufacturer landscape to develop new relationships with existing customer base.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to understand all the moving parts of Renova’s core business.
